The baby shower is usually planned for a date some time during the
mother-to-be's last two month of pregnancy.  On the other hand, it's perfectly acceptable to have the shower after the baby has arrived.  It's extra fun to honor the baby and introduce him or her to everyone at the same party.

Anyone close to the new mother can plan the shower.  It could be a friend, co-worker or someone from either side of the family... or even a group of friends. Showers are so much fun that it is not unusual for various friends or relatives to have more than one baby shower.  Why not?  Who needs much of an excuse to have a party!

 Will there be refreshments or a full meal?  Will there be a baby shower cake!

 Will there be decorations?  Will there be a baby shower centerpiece?

Will someone make a diaper cake?

 Will there be favors for the guests?

 Don't forget to plan for baby shower games and prizes for the winners.

Will you create a Web page with time, place and directions to the shower location.  That makes it easy for everyone to know exactly where and when to find the party.  A nice touch is to add a photo of the mother-to-be?  Here's another nifty idea, place some of the photos taken at the shower on the Web page, so later,  everyone can relive the fun they all had.
